Art Commission Terms of Service
By commissioning me, you agree to the terms outlined below. These guidelines ensure a smooth and fair process for both of us.
Note: To avoid any miscommunication and ensure the best results, please keep your project descriptions and instructions clear and concise.
General Information
Digital Format: All commissions are strictly digital. No physical items will be shipped.
Right of Refusal: I reserve the right to decline any request at my discretion, without the need for a detailed explanation.
Cancellations & Payments: If a commission is canceled, unpaid, or a chargeback is issued, I retain full rights to all preliminary work. This includes the right to repurpose sketches or concepts as "Your Character Here" (YCH), adoptables, or for other personal projects.
Payment
Methods: Payments are accepted via PayPal or Ko-fi. I will confirm the available method when your commission is accepted.
Payment Plans:
Full Payment: 100% upfront.
Split Payment: 50% upfront and 50% after sketch approval (not applicable to Skeb-style commissions).
Skeb-style: Full upfront payment is required for all Skeb-style requests.
Fees: A 4% PayPal transaction fee will be added to the final price.
Refund Policy
Full/Partial Refunds: Issued only if I am unable to complete your commission for personal or technical reasons.
Non-refundable: No refunds will be provided if you cancel after the sketch has been approved, or if you stop communicating (ghosting) during the process.
Communication & Response Time
Response Time: To keep the project on schedule, please reply to any questions or update requests within 48 hours.
Cancellations: If you do not respond within this timeframe without prior notice, the commission will be considered canceled and no refund will be provided for work already completed.
Prior Notice: If you know you will be unavailable or slow to respond, please let me know in advance. This helps me manage my schedule as a student!
Turnaround Time
Turnaround Time: Completion can take anywhere from 1 week to 2 months, depending on the complexity of the piece and my current workload.
Availability: As I am a student, I primarily work on commissions during weekends. Your patience is greatly appreciated!
Updates: I will provide updates at each major stage: Sketch, Flat Colors, and Final.
Status Checks: Please avoid requesting daily updates. However, if you haven't heard from me in over 2 weeks, feel free to reach out for a status check.
